What is Payment forms?

Payment forms combine intake questions with a fixed-amount charge via Stripe Connect. Connect Stripe for the workspace, add a Payment block, and publish on an eligible plan. Money collected from respondents goes through Stripe Connect and is separate from your Formit SaaS subscription billing.

How it works

1. Connect Stripe Connect for the workspace that will receive respondent payments.
2. Create a form and add intake fields (Contact Info, product details, etc.).
3. Add a Payment block and set the fixed amount respondents should pay.
4. Confirm your plan allows payment forms, then publish a version.
5. Share or embed the form; review intake answers and payment outcomes in Results.

Limitations and plan notes

• Payment forms are plan-gated; Free may not allow publishing forms that charge respondents.
• Payment amount is fixed - this flow is not a full dynamic cart or multi-SKU storefront.
• Respondent Stripe payments are separate from Formit SaaS billing; Connect and Stripe account status control payouts.
