What is AI follow-ups?

AI follow-ups are in-form probes that ask a contextual clarifying question while someone is still filling the form. They work for public and authenticated fills, are plan-gated, and are distinct from after-submit integrations like Slack or Google Sheets - and they are not email follow-ups.

How it works

1. Confirm your plan includes AI follow-ups.
2. Open the form builder and enable AI follow-ups on the questions where probes make sense (for example low scores or short answers).
3. Configure when a probe should appear based on the answer context.
4. Preview both public and signed-in fill paths if you use both.
5. Publish the form so live respondents can receive in-form probes.
6. Review probe answers alongside the rest of the submission in Results.

Example workflow
